  • A definite neighborhood gem, a must visit. We've been there many times but this time, I was incline to make note to everyone. I needed a place to entertain some very close friends. The view of the lake, service, food, and John topped off the wonderful evening. It was during Restaurant Week but we decided to order off the regular menu. John approached us and greeted us. He was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable when it came to the menu. He made some recommendations and we were happy to heed his suggestions. We order several appetizers, entrees and shared everything family style. I preordered a dessert for my guests since I had to leave in the middle of dinner. I had informed John and he was more than able to accommodate. I was a little concerned about how I was able to tender the payment, include his gratuity, and be able to depart, but John took matters into his own hands and put my mind at ease. He even called me after to reassure me of the final bill and thanked us for coming in. Very professional and very appreciated. Everything from the moment we walked in to the time I left, was fantastic. Everyone was engaging and seemed like they enjoyed their job and provide the service they did. John was very attentive and extremely friendly, something that is somewhat rare these days! Although I was amongst guest who did not drink, I was would be remised if I didn't mention their wine selection. That in itself is definitely worth visiting for! You can go shopping for a bottle of wine and then enjoy it at dinner or take it home, pretty awesome! After conferring with my guest after dinner, they too really appreciated the service and told me that they most surely will return with friends and family. The food and ambience at Marche has always been consistent but this time, the service was well above par. I, we will definitely come back and visit John! Kuddos!
