  • Went to Carmine ' s again. First stop when we got into town. Same great experience and food as last time! This is now one of our go to restaurants when we are hungry. one thing to remember....everything is served family style! If there are only two of you, eat at the bar. They serve JR portions in the bar. By Jr., they mean more than enough for 2 people! Every time we come, we order the same thing: Caesar salad with grilled shrimp and penne alla vodka. Delicious! The food reminds me of what I would eat in college on Arthur Ave. In the Bronx! Also, don't forget to add anchovies to the Caesar salad! To top it all off, they serve Peroni on draft! Oh, be sure to taste the different bread options! The onion rolls and pepperoni bread are great, too! Just make sure when you head to Carmine ' s that you are hungry!
