  • I tend to only review places that I want to truly reward - meaning they get 5 stars so don't think I just love everything. Novel is really, really, really good - far and away the best in the valley IMHO. The owners are obviously dedicated to producing the best ice cream they can. The flavors range from the expected to eclectic without becoming ridiculous. I'm stuck on the bourbon toffee crunch, but fortunately my wife skips about the other flavors so I have had a fair sampling. As well they will give you multiple samples to whet your appetite or just confuse the decision making process. The owner is really a gracious host and fun to talk to. Makes you feel right at home. I hope they can continue to grow so they can open another location. They deserve great success and rewards for their hard work in producing such outstanding ice cream.
