| - TLDR; great food. Bluebird Kitchen is really a takeout place, not a cafe.
Tried this place for a quick lunch with my spouse. The food was good as many other reviewers stated. Good variety of tasty artisanal bread, fresh ingredients, and nice, clever takes on the basic sandwiches. She ordered the Turkey, I the Roast Beef. We also got their in-the-restaurant made chips, which were great.
I rated it a little on the low side for me, as the food was slightly on the pricey side for what we got ($30 lunch for 2 for sandwiches, no refills on iced tea). And, we went expecting to eat in. However, it is definitely "Bluebird Kitchen" not "Bluebird Dining Room". I mean to say that the accommodations for dining in are not good at all, unless you want to sit alone and watch people walk by at the windows. There are three bar tables along the walls of the place, with backless steel 30" (think low bar) stools for seating. I imagine that most people will be getting food to go and eat at the tables on Market Square, but the weather was too cold for us.
