  • Never again should I need a Cleveland florist. I was embarrassed. The flowers my daughter sent to my best friends funeral were wilted & dead. I got a call from the florist saying that my requested arrangement, Heaven's Gate, couldn't be made cause they had no gerbera daisies. She said she had lilies. I didn't want lilies...my best friend's favorite flower was daisies. That's why I ordered it. AGAIN she tries to push the lilies on me. I again said no. So she said she'd leave a note for the owner who would be in the next day. I was fuming. I waited for a return call from the owner. Nothing. So I assumed she got the white gerbera daisies. I didn't care if she got them from Giant Eagle...certainly she could find white gerberas from somewhere, even another florist. So I travelled to Cleveland for the funeral which was at 11AM. There was my "Heavens Gate" arrangement...in pink. Not white...pink. And while they were still the same arrangement style, they looked like they were for a little girl. Girly my friend was not. So.....no call from the owner asking if pink was okay. And dead flowers from my daughter. I should've gotten my money back & gone to Mayfield Florist...the arrangements at the funeral from them were lovely.
