Well, after previously purchasing shoes here, I found the owner to not be a nice guy at all! Too prideful! So: here's my previous experience first: my husband and I went in about two months or so ago to buy a pair of shoes we walked In and was greeted by a skinny male in his mid thirty"s we explained that we had heel pain and our Dr recommended this as one of many places to get a good supportive shoe.
Anyway the guy had my husband try on about four pair of shoes and after several moments chose one of the pairs. The guy than tried to sell us this devise to roll your heel on and we refused the option, bought the pair of shoes and left.
Now for the second and FiNAL experience!
I sent my 21 year old son ahead to start looking at shoes and that I would meet him there in a few minutes. Within 15 minutes my son calls me and says the man and women in the store can't help him until he brings his orthotics in. I tell my son I'll meet him there as during the previous visit this was not a mandatory thing they did. I walked in and had My son show me the shoes he liked and was going to see if I thought they had enough support and the owner (which at the moment I didn't know he was) started in how he had to be fitted first and that he was not going to sell him shoes until he could bring the orthotics in. Well I went into trying to explain what my previous purchase experience was and how we didn't do that before, and that not everyone has orthotics that comes into his store. He than called me a liar and said" I don't believe that is what happened when you were here before" I than got upset because he basically called me a liar! And his business became in question as he focused on how I was lying. I then asked for the owner and he stated he WAS and I told him he list a sale and he told me to leave his store! After I was trying to defend my stance and explain why would I bother driving to his store without orthotics than lie to the guy to get his shoes!? Does not make since. Not once did he apologize for how the previous guy MAY have messed up the sale and that was not how he likes to do buisness, he wanted to be prideful and lose the sale future or present and did not care that he was very rude! My son walked back in to calmly explain why I was upset and how his business didn't handle the same things in both visits the same.... My son was very calm and polite but since the owner had too much pride or perhaps a racist ( as my son is of mixed race) he told him to leave and never return! So the final to the story? If you want to take the risk of giving your hard earned money to a guy who has NO people skills or has pride issues and who may or may not be a racist do not shop here! I'm just saying....
