  • There's only one thing I hate more than cleaning my apartment, and that's doing laundry. Luckily, over the past year I have taken all my work stuff to Royal and have had a top notch experience for what I feel is a great price. Personally, I find ironing a shirt properly very difficult - getting out all the wrinkles (I used to use the washing machine and then hang dry to spare my shirts from the dryer) in a shirt and furthermore, getting a proper crease in pants is near impossible. Royal always cleans and presses my clothes perfectly - and for around $2/shirt and $5/pants it is among the most reasonable I have seen in the city. I also frequently spill stuff all over myself - one time in particular I dropped a large section of pizza topping on my pants (which left a huge greasy stain). I actually thought I would have to throw them out, but Royal got the stain out without damaging the pants. The lady there is also very nice and always friendly. If I had any issue with this place it would be their hours - they close at 7pm on week days and are closed Sundays, which can make drop off/pick up frustrating. Note: they also don't take American Express so be sure to grab another card if that's what you usually use.
