| - Took a friend for lunch today. Haven't been there in several years. When I arrived (friend already seated), was given a menu. Waitress came asked what I wanted to drink and when see returned asked if we were ready to order. Said we had 3 minutes (?). Was she joking? I asked about the broasted chicken on the website menu. Haven't had it in several years, I was told. My friend ordered the Lori beef sandwich and the waitress suggested a Philly with potato salad. My friend wanted the Lori, but opt'ed for the Philly at the waitress' persistence. The sandwich was cold. I ordered lasagna. I am not sure what I got. It was a plate of tomato sauce with a couple noodles under it with maybe hamburger? The garlic bread was half a roll cut in half with a smear of garlic butter dabbed on it, also cold. No side salad with the pasta. While we were eating, the waitress came back, didn't ask if we wanted anything else, refill on the tea, dessert etc. and flipped the bill on the table. Two minutes later she returned and reached over our food to fill or take the condiments (i.e. jelly, sugar, etc.). When we were finishing up, another person came from the kitchen picked up my plate (didn't ask if I were finished) and wanted my water glass. The restaurant was not closing, but it seemed so. Not a good experience.
