| - I am a Dollar Express Member. I prepaid my rental online prior to picking up the vehicle. I just returned the vehicle to Charlotte Douglas Airport where the first line of returning cars was full so I pulled all the way forward and stopped at the line in the 2nd empty lane as the giant sign says to do only to have an abrasive Dollar employee lady who was checking in cars to yell at me that "You gonna have to move the car to the back of the line". The first row line was full. I responded "you can move the vehicle, I have already paid for it." She responded "no I will not check your vehicle in". She is working the return of rental cars, she should not be rude, talking in a disrespectful voice, yelling at a customer period, or refusing to check in a vehicle and provide a receipt when the vehicle was parked in the correct place for a returning customer. Now what they do with or where they move vehicles may be different from the return lane that says on the giant sign "Return cars here Pull all the way forward Stop", but I as a prepaid customer and Dollar Express member am under any obligation nor do I know where to move a returned vehicle to except to follow what the sign says. Her brash remarks are unnecessary in a customer service job where she was providing neither customer service nor doing her job. I asked to speak to a manager, to which she replied, "you gonna move that car". I went downstairs and told the Gentleman I had already paid and simply was trying to return my car and needed a receipt. I told him the lady upstairs in the lot refused to check in my car and said it was not her job to drive a Dollar returned rental car. She was the only person in the lot! The Gentleman said it was her job. He apologized and refunded $10 "for your trouble", however, I have never been treated so rudely by a rental car employee simply because she is a rude person and obviously neither values her job or deserves to be working as a reflection of Dollar rental car as in most cases, she will be the only Dollar employee the returning customer will see. If Dollar does not deal with this transgression and harassment appropriately, I will be forced to have no other choice but to never rent from Dollar again and warn all my Charlotte and other city visitors' business colleagues to never use Dollar Rental Car again.
