  • I was planning a bachelorette for 5 girls and so I emailed them and asked what kind of packages they would do. I settled on two girls getting manis, two girls getting pedis and the bride to be getting manis and pedis. In the agreement that I signed, it said the services included a glass of champagne and massages. They also signed off with their email saying it's from Brittany and the concierge team. Calling yourself a concierge sets the bar at a whole new level. Two days before the event, one girl, Kim canceled and I emailed them letting them know it was down to four girls. When we arrived, the layout had us confused because we were in the Colette cafe first. There was a door immediately to the right and we could see the nail salon. We entered that door and nobody said anything to us. They saw us but didn't acknowledge us which set the tone for us already. I had to flag someone down and tell them we had a reservation. They motioned for us to go back around to the back of the store to check in. We were then ushered to the color wall to pick our colors. They said the esthetisians would come get us. The esthetisians were all very confused when they came to get us and didn't know who was getting what and how many girls there were. It just felt very disorganized. They should have been prepped and knew exactly which girl was getting what services. We were then seated and started our service. Out of all the esthetisians, only mine had good salon manners. The bride's esthetisian would tap her ankle to get her to switch foots. This kind of service is only acceptable if I was at a place getting a $35 mani pedi combo. Their manners were curt and unfriendly and one of my friend even said they were rude. Numerous waiters came by to ask us if we would like drinks and I had to prompt them that I bought a package and that it comes with champagne. As concierge, they should have known that and offered that first before asking if we needed anything else. At one point, they asked me who was Kim and I had to tell them I had emailed 2 days before saying I was canceling her appointment and that they had emailed back to acknowledge that. During my friend's mani, she was offered water but that never appeared. The two girls that just got manicures received their massages. The bride never got her massage and was kicked out of her seat before her nails were done drying. She had to ask them to spray her if they were going to kick her out of her seat. I had talked to the event coordinator before about lunch catering which was fine and the food was brought out in a timely manner. All in all, I was just annoyed that the service was so spotty yet they set the bar so high for themselves and they just couldn't deliver.
