  • Coming from a chef, I must say that Alex turns out some really good Italian dishes. From the bread and garlic butter to the Tiramisu and everything in between, his attention to detail, technique, and seasoning is right on. I had the smoked chicken rigatoni and if my wife let me I would have licked the plate, instead I used more of his amazing bread to clean it up! The other people in my party had the pizza, the Metro steak and pasta, and spinach cannelloni, all of which looked and tasted great! A stand by my choice to never judge a restaurant by service alone, nor to knock a place down to 4 stars for less than 5 star service. We go to places to eat good food, 5 star service to me is just an added bonus, or even 4 stars for that matter. If I did have to give a rating for service, I would give them 5 stars for doing their best given the situation. Dealing with restaurant customers sucks! making a bad situation worse just makes it worse for everyone. With that said, keep an open mind when you go and be patient... it's worth it!
