  • So far so good! We have been waiting for the opening for months, saw cars in the parking lot last week and made plans to check it out. We went in with hopes of greatness mostly because it's walking distance from our house and a great (close) alternative to downtown Gilbert or Chandler. The Basset did not disappoint! We sat at the bar for over 2 hours eating, drinking, and chatting with the owners, staff (all very friendly and attentive) and other patrons. Drinks were poured well, Burgers, wings, and fries were great. I'm not a beer guy, but tried their home brew and it was pretty good too. We will be back often. Love having a locally owned, fun, casual place in the neighborhood. **For those being critical** Keep in mind this is a brand new place without a cookie cutter franchise business model. They are in soft opening mode and doing a great job so far getting everything dialed in.
