  • Went here last night for the Open Mic. I love to support local artist and local businesses. Pretty busy on Mondays because of the open mic. I tried the Golden Ale which was phenomenal and I'm not even into beers. Anyways upon receiving my beer and paying for it through debit the bartender looks at the receipt and notices there was no tip and says out loud so everyone in the surrounding area can hear him "NO TIP?!" along with the dirty look he gave me. Now I am the type of person that is going to tip and tip well based on service when I order my last set of drinks. I don't like to keep a tab running for security purposes but regardless of the type of person I am, or how and when I tip, no customer ever should be singled out like that. It is uncalled for. I actually really like this place so it just sucks that things had to go that way. Also it's just a 6 dollar beer on tap that you poor into a glass. I understand if I ordered a mix drink and they had to mix and measure a few different liquors but wow. I really liked the beer and was having a good time, the bartender was going to get a nice tip too until he said that. I'll probably come back for Open Mic. I hate to give low amount of stars because the place is decent but its just that remark that was made to make me look like a fool in front of people really left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll revise my rating on my next visit. Hopefully it'll be better.
