Convenient for getting soup for that hangover when you've got little time to waste. And you're staying in the MGM Grand.
I ordered the pork and shrimp wonton noodle soup because it sounded comforting and easy on the stomach. I wanted to order the fusiony lobster and leek ramen but it was a stir-fried rather than in a soup. Anyway, the wonton noodle soup indeed did the trick. The best part were the wontons, with half pieces of shrimp in them. They were super plump with a good firmness. The broth was a little bland, but they offered chili garlic sauce on the side. I added some as well as some soy sauce, which made it a lot more savory. Still, a very simple broth though.
The boy ordered the Mandarin beef noodle soup, which was full of beef and delicous melt-in-your-mouth tendon attached. It was so tender that it was almost like fat, but without the fat. The broth was five-spice based but good, especially with the chili garlic sauce. I secretly wished I had ordered it, and it caught the attention of our neighbors, who asked what it was.
Service was very warm and excellent. Recommend sitting at the bar to watch everything being made.
