  • AA flt was delayed from SFO to LAX and made my husband miss an AA connecting flt. I called AA and asked the AA rep, Sue for workable solutions. The AA rep, Sue, said since the flt was delayed and was NOT weather related, my husband would receive a voucher for a hotel and a meal at LAX when he arrived, since the other flights out that night were full, he could standby and see if he could get out. There were 20+ people on the SFO flt to LAX connecting to PHX, yet AA chose to NOT hold the flight for those people, and AA Flt #626 departed on time. Flights after this were already full, and my husband goes to AA Customer Service at LAX and Josh L, CSC, said since Air Traffic Control would not allow Flt #2438 to depart SFO, they would NOT give a hotel or meal voucher since it was NOT AA's fault. Josh L. told me to contact AA directly to file a complaint, that he was the manager, and there was nothing he could do for my husband, or the other 20+ people who missed their flt back to Phx, since if he did it for my husband, he would have to do it for everyone. DO NOT FLY American Airlines!!! They are on my list. So who lied...Sue, the AA rep on the phone, Josh L., the AA rep at LAX who was suppose to be the "mgr" at that shift? Have emailed AA, Air Traffic Control at SFO, and have filed a complaint with the department of transportation as well. Who treats anyone this way?
