  • Formerly a Foodland, this is now a Shop 'n Save and is apparently under new management. The gentleman currently running this store comes off as a jolly, middle-aged Chris Farley who greets everyone, shakes hands, exchanges recipes, and kisses babies like he's running for mayor. My only complaints about this supermarket is that there aren't any cart return stations and the parking lot can get a bit congested. Aside from that, this SnS has a terrific deli and a dandy meat department that has more specials and better quality than Giant Eagle. The cashiers are friendly and efficient. The shelves are always stocked well. Their prepared foods, particularly the potato salad, are solidly good. They even have fresh fish from time to time. The building is old, so don't expect the kind of poshness you'd find in a wealthier area, but don't let that put you off. This is a more than acceptable supermarket.
