So we have heard of 'moms and pops' shops for your local burger joint, Distance would be the golf equivalent. This tiny golf range is family owned and operated, and has been in my neighborhood for as long as I could remember. It is clean, spotless and well maintained. The prices for the buckets are not bad: Small $7, Reg $11, Jumbo $14. They also have a small part of the driving range where you can hit on grass and not on the mats... Which is helpful when you do a full course, because hitting on grass is most def different from hitting on mats. There is a catch for this option: it's an additional $1 and everyone has to get a Jumbo basket. If you are serious about golf, this slight surcharge wouldn't mean a thing, a small price to pay in order to prep for the course.
The greatest thing about this range is the direction of the sun on right-hand golfers: the sun comes from behind during mid-day... That means no blazing sun in your eyes when you are trying to hit 100s, 150s, and 200s. Booya! But that also means you can't blame the sun if you suck! =p
