  • I went back for a haircut yesterday, unfortunately Jewell was not there, but I decided to go for this Great Clips again. Had I had another hair stylist, this could have possibly been another 4 star review. My review with Jewell still stands, but my experience yesterday needs to be mentioned. Most of my 1 star reviews are because of bad customer service, and this is no different. I walked in and was told it was a 30-40 minute wait. I decided to wait it out, it actually did not take that long to wait, but here is my issue... There were only two stylist working and they were super busy after the work day was over for most people. I had just watched them finish with 3-4 people and there were still three people waiting at the store and three people had just signed in online, so you knew it was going to be continuously busy. At that time, one of the hair stylist went out back. One of the guys that checked in online came in and asked if there was just one stylist there. The other stylist said "there is another one here but she went out back, not sure why she went out back, but she did." Not only did this one stylist make it look bad for Great Clips to go take a smoke break when you have essentially 6 people waiting, but she also made it bad for her coworker to have to give an excuse to incoming customers about her break. Just great, I was the next in line for this person because the other two in front of me wanted to wait for the other stylist. I could have done the same, but I decided to go ahead with her. Of course after having a smoke break, she reeked of smoke. Not everyone appreciates that smell or wants your smoke hands to be working with their hair. There is a time and place for smoke breaks, but not when you have six people waiting and have a haircut to do immediately after. Aside from all of that, my haircut was pretty good, but she did not really like it when I wanted to cut my hair a little bit more than originally requested. So not the greatest attitude either, but at least my hair does not look bad. West Town Market - Please work with L****n and her customer service if you are going to employ her.
