Presto has by far the WORST customer service one can possibly come across. I lose my card. I never registered my card, but the company suggests it has 'no authority' to find my bank transaction and cancel the payment, mind you I had 100$ on the card. I dispute the case with my bank and no actions are taken. So I lose $100 + another $6 from the purchase of a new card just because they're lazy and can't void the card that's linked with my bank transaction.
TL;DR if you don't want to lose all your money on your card - MAKE SURE YOU REGISTER IT.
UPDATE: Yet again, presto does not cease to impress me by their lack of customer support. I have a crack in my current presto card, so I purchase another one. During the purchasing of the card, no one told me I could NOT register the new card and have the money transferred from the old card. So now because of their inadequacy of doing their job, I'm stuck with having to buy another presto card, just so I can transfer a damaged card's balance to the 'anonymous' card, but meanwhile still have another full functional registered presto card? Makes sense.
