  • My Husband and I play MY vegas slots and we won a free winter com with Excalibur, I never had any interest in this hotel on the strip. we usually stay at Mandalay Bay or the Flamingo, but my husband wanted to give it a try. It was HORRIBLE! LOL I mean the decor is from the 1980's and it's an ugly red not pictures of the walls ... the moment I walked into the hotel room I felt completely uninspired to do anything... and we had a view of the stupid castle outside out window and felt totally cut off from the rest of the Vegas strip. I also had a security guard check me out numerous times and he even shoulder checked my husband... it is the least sexy hotel on the strip. if you want to spend your time with a bunch of families and older folks I guess you'd like it but it was the most depressing and uninspiring place I think vegas has to offer.... I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.... I was so happy to leave. I wouldn't stay there again even if we got a free night, it was that bad... and we even ate at Boca di beppo the "Italian" restaurant or whatever you want to call it... the waitress was nice, but the food was so mediocre I could make better pasta at home myself it didn't even taste seasoned. Just say NO!
