  • Visited this new spot of Amelie's in Uptown. Consistent design and very spacious place as all their other locations. Staff tries to be friendly but very unprofessional. I had to pick my pastry and stay in the line to pay for it (with it in my hands). At the register I ordered one drink ( I was sold for its extravagant name) but couldn't get information about its content, 2 of the register attendants did not know the product. After I paid I went to the bar to wait for my order. Since it was 10 min after I ordered my drink, I started eating my desert, that unfortunately looked much better than tasted. Really heavy and flavorless filling in a soggy burnt shell. It definitely stayed in the fridge for a couple of days. Finally when I got my drink it wasn't what I ordered and it took them a while to figure out why it happened and to exchange it for the right thing. I think the general opinion of this place is overestimated.
