| - Came home last night to find several inches of water in my garage. It was definitely coming up from the drain, due to the combination of rain & melting ice dams in my gutters. For whatever reason, the water wouldn't drain. I wanted to find someone local to bail me out of this nasty situation. I called Chase Plumbing first thing in the morning, based on the positive yelp reviews.
Patrick showed up before noon (he had 2 jobs to finish before mine). He was very quick in diagnosing the problem. First, he tried snaking the garage drain, but the trap wasn't cooperating with the snake due to a hole in the trap (or something). 2nd, he tried to snake through the driveway trap, but the previous owners filled it with cement (ughh). 3rd, he cracked open the main stack of my house and ran the snake that way. Within a few minutes, he pulled up a dirty old rag, and my garage started to drain! He patched up the stack with some couplings and I was good to go! The damage was $200, and was about what I expected to pay, given the complexity of my situation. I have a feeling I would have had to pay more if I looked elsewhere.
Patrick is a straight shooter, he doesn't sugarcoat anything. He gave me a little insight into the plumbing under my garage and driveway and advice for some future improvements.
I definitely recommend Chase Plumbing if you are trying to keep it local and avoid getting overcharged by larger chains.
