| - The customer service is A-maze-ing!!!!!
My New Years resolution is to get healthy and save money for a three month trip to Europe for my 50th birthday. When I explained to the guys at the shop that I was doing this with 100% commitment thus sold my car, they were all about helping me to be successful.
Initially, I went in to get my bike road worthy, but once the guys heard about the tennis elbow I got from riding it often, they explained how my bike was actually too big for me. They were going to make some structural changes to the bike to make it a better fit for me. After seeing the cost of everything I needed, I decided to splurge a bit and just get a better fitting bike (since I was becoming a bike commuter).
The guys and girls at the shop helped me pick out a bike that was sturdy enough to hold my overweight body and comfortable enough for me to put what I thought would be 20 miles a day on it. They helped me pick a safe commuting route on a bike map. They explained how to shift so as not to have my chain hop when I was going over the overpasses. They showed me how to change a tire. AND they gave me a nice discount on the bike, helmet, and accessories.
I now ride 140-200 miles a week. I just wore through my first set of brakes at the start of my return trip home ( which is all down hill). I was scared I would damage the wheels if I continued the ride home so I called the shop. Even though it was late, they had me bring in the bike, replaced the brakes, and gave me a lesson in bike maintenance.
I hear there is a ladies night coming up soon. If you decide to attend, look for the fat old lady on the white step through Liv and say "hi."
