| - Location is primo. The menu just changed. I had been here before, said never again. But, friends convinced me to try again since the menu had "changed" and now that they have "nasty sauce" on their menu, why not try again? Well...it's really not *THAT* great, I'm afraid. If I'm going to spend the same kind of money, I'd much, much, MUCH rather go to Richmond Station, where I was 2 nights ago, or to Rose and Sons, where I went tonight. At Bannock, I ordered the brick chicken -- it was very salty. The chicken slabs were overly crunch and the soppressata that is pressed in between the white and dark meat wasn't very present in the dish at all. The veggies surrounding the plate was the best part of that entree. I had to order the poutine fries to compensate for whatever it was that was lacking in the chicken main course, and that was nothing really to write home about. All in all, the best thing was the scotch bonnet house made "nasty sauce". Too bad I can't eat a whole entree of THAT!
