  • DLUX=Awesome. If you want a tasty, well put together burger at a reasonable price in a really cool restaurant, you should probably go to DLUX. I've been there twice now (but to be fair, I've only had one burger) and experiences were awesome. The decor is very cool and trendy without being overbearing. The booths and seats at the bar are both very comfy which is always a nice perk. The staff here are VERY friendly and oh so helpful. The first time we had a fantastic waitress who was attentive, perky, and gave us helpful tips. The second time we took seats at the bar because it was a bit busier and every single person working behind the bar checked on us at least once. The cheese curds here are definitely worth it. The sauce is a little underwhelming which is unfortunate but they are currently sitting at number 4 on my list which is nothing to sneer at. I've also had the jalepeno poppers which were on special that night and not on the regular menu, but they were delicious. And they came with a berry dipping sauce which is the only way jalepeno poppers should be eaten in my opinion. I have had the DLUX burger (comes with blue cheese, arugala, and port wine onions) and it was super tasty. Well balanced in flavor and composition, and interestingly enough the buns that DLUX uses are really good. Would definitely recommend. I would also HIGHLY recommend the Chocolate Peanut Butter Pretzel Shake which is all sorts of foodgasmic and I've already had it twice. They have other interesting shakes like Coconut Vanilla and Toasted Marshmallow, but I tend to get chocolate regret when I order sweet things so I haven't yet ventured towards those. Pro tip, you can add booze to the shake, it's highly encouraged! Other things to note about DLUX, they don't cook the burgers to your doneness desires, it's strictly fully cooked but they aren't dry so good on them for that. It does keep the kitchen more expedited though and that combined with a small menu makes for a short wait time on food. Also sides at DLUX are a la carte, so your burger will not automatically come with fries. Which is kind of nice if you aren't the fry type (I'm sure those people exist, I just don't want to be friends with them) or aren't feeling them that particular day. All in all, I love DLUX. When I'm craving a good burger and milkshake, this is where I want to go. The staff, the atmosphere, the food, the cheesecurds, and that marvelous marvelous shake will keep me coming back again and again.
