  • I moved to the city a few months ago and was looking for somewhere to get my 5th tattoo. They said they accepted walk ins, so I ventured over on a Thursday night (it's right up the street and they had pretty great reviews). Allie was able to take me - lucky I walked in then, because it turns out she is booked for the next 3 months! All of my tats are tiny, and this one was no different, but she took the time to consult with me about every single detail and make sure I was absolutely sure about design and placement. Some of the other artists i've gone to have been pretty terse, but she was great. Very conversational, helpful, and reassuring throughout the whole process (I'm kind of a wimp when it comes to pain, and she didn't make me feel like a p**** for wincing over a baby tat). Also, I asked her advice about one of my tattoos that "fell out" almost immediately after I got it. She explained why she thought it didn't take the first time and offered to touch it up for an additional and very reasonable fee. She gave me advice on what I could do differently the second time around, and explained everything in detail. She was awesome. And from looking at her portfolio, it's obvious she's experienced with much more detailed stuff. Clean studio and friendly staff also.
