  • The Bistro buffet has been on my to do list for a while now. I had seen the reviews on yelp regarding the buffet and saw there were some positive, and some not so nice reviews which in a way surprised me as the palms is a nice casino and you would figure that the buffet would be good with the amount of locals, and tourist that check in everyday. I decided to give it a try today and find out what all the fuzz was about and give my own review. Right off the bat when I got there I saw there was a big line, that in its self was a good sign. If you have people making a line to get in there and try the food it must be good...right??? Honestly if there is one thing I have learned its that a long line is not an indicator of a good buffet as sometimes convenience sometimes lowers your standards regarding what your about to put into your body. Well, once I paid $10.81 with my station casino rewards card, I headed right into the food area and my first impression of the food, and selection was actually positive. I grabbed a plate and went right at it! I tried food from every section, and I have to say that the food was not bad at all! The food was really good! I had some orange chicken from the Asian area, and I have to say it was, and im not kidding, the best orange chicken I've had in any buffet so far. The dessert section also had a good variety of items, its the usual items you find at other buffets, the only thing that makes it cool is that they had desserts in little cups which looked really cool, but really its your run of the mill dessert items. Overall, I enjoyed this buffet. The food was not bad at all, it as very clean, and organized and I will definitely be back as my experience was not half bad.
