  • I should have read the reviews before ever going to this place. They are absolutely right! The receptionists at this office are absolutely atrocious. The couple of times I've been there for an annual check up I've ignored the rude and indifferent attitudes of the women behind the counter because I like the Doctors and the eyeglasses selection from South Hills Optical who share the space of the business. Today however, when I called to make my annual eye check up appointment, the receptionist felt it was her place to tell me that I shouldn't make that appointment before my medical eye appointment because the Doctor might have me come back for more visits after that one. She even refused to make that appointment for me after I wanted to proceed regardless. Not only was this receptionist, Robin, being difficulty and unaccommodating, but she was also very unprofessional and even started yelling at me through the phone when I asked her if she was being difficult, or if she was simply refusing to make my appointment for me. If you enjoy rude, unprofessional behavior from receptionists, who also think that their clerical certification qualifies them to make decisions on your, or the doctor's behalf, then this is the place to be. Thank you I appreciate your response to this incident today, but I have already found a new office who has a pleasant receptionist and I have an appointment in the near future. Also, no I do not have any medical issues with my eyes, that appointment was suggested at my last appointment for her to take a closer look to ensure. That is why I knew I wanted my annual appointment without having to wait until after the other and all of that is not something I should have to explain to a receptionist, she is not a doctor or a nurse. If she had been trying to do the right thing, she would have put me on the phone with you then.
