Just moved to town and was looking for some fabric for simple drapery and bedsheets.
Now, when I first arrived, I got really excited because this store is MASSIVE compared to the one I used to go to.
Was looking around, not finding what I wanted or at least what I thought I wanted (the signage on the fabric shelving are easily missed, making it harder to find what you want) and so I finally asked someone for help and a suggestion on what type of fabric to use and where they are. She asked me what my color palette was. I said solid blue/green. And she literally turned around and pointed to the next closest fabric that was NOT solid- it was a blue with a very wild print - and walked away. o...k... totally not what I asked for and no help at all.
So I looked more, and after looking at every single row of fabric in the place, I noticed a good amount of them only had a little bit left on the bolt, especially any of the cotton types. Maybe I went on a bad day or something.
So went in excited and hopeful...and after about an hour looking at every single shelf, left disappointed. Not any better than my old Joanns that was about 1/3 of the size- at least I've been able to find something every time I go in.
Probably won't be going back unless I ABSOLUTELY have to.
