  • My husband and I have been to many B &Bs and the Speckled Hen is clearly a standout. Heather and Tom were amazing hosts! They made the time to warmly welcome us and make sure we were completely at home. The rooms were cozy , comfortable and impeccably clean. They had a wonderful wine and cheese pairing when we first arrived. It was game 7 of the World Series and Tom pulled down the giant projector screen for us to watch the game in the great room. Felt like we were at the stadium....GO CUBS! Anyways, the following morning Heather created a 3 course farm-to-table breakfast for us and made it custom fit to a specific diet we were following. AMAZING!!! On top of all that, the surrounding farm and forest was just beautiful. Highly recommend...what an u expected treat! Therese L
