  • The Banfield Pet Hospital at PetSmart Christown Spectrum Mall on Bethany Home Road in Phoenix is pathetic! I have never been to a more poorly run facility! Not to mention, the number of veterinarians who have turned over there in the past few years is sad and concerning. Two months ago, I scheduled yearly dental cleanings for my 2 little chihuahuas. The earliest available appointment was 12/7/17. I decided to just take that appointment since it was at my regularly visited Banfield hospital. Having had a couple of other visit issues there, I started to feel uncomfortable with the level of service at that location. About 1 month ago, one of my little ones needed medical attention, and the soonest I could get in would have been a week later! WHAT????? So............I contacted the Paradise Valley Banfield at PetSmart at Tatum and Shea in Phoenix/Scottsdale. They were able to see him the next day! Because of the outstanding service and caring staff at Banfield @ Tatum & Shea, I decided to ask about having dentals done at that location. They were able to get my little ones in the following week! I called back Banfield at Christown Spectrum to request to have the 12/7 appointments cancelled..............AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THEM IN THEIR SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is going on with that location????? I will NEVER take them there again! So poorly managed! On a positive note, the veterinarians and staff at the Banfield at PetSmart Paradise Valley Tatum & Shea are amazing! I am moving my fur babies to THAT location...............even with it being quite a ways away from my home. It will be worth the drive! Banfield at Christown Spectrum REALLY needs to step up its game in a BIG BIG WAY!
