The perks of working with a lot of Italians is that I get the scoop on good Italian restaurants/bakeries.
We were in the area for a school excursion; one of my colleagues has a brother who lives up the street and this is the place that they always go to. According to my colleague, this location is the original one (and the best).
Walking in, it looks old school. You see display after display of pastries. There's also an area of the bakery that has groceries, wood oven for pizzas, seating, and espresso. Being 10:30, we didn't try the pizza (would love to another time!), but we had cannoli with lattes whilst seating outside.
The cannolis were delicious! $2.25 for a h u g e cannoli so pricing is reasonable.
There are other locations, which I may check out as I live nowhere near Woodbridge.
I was impressed though!
A solid 4 stars.
