| - Unfriendly, superficial, and condescending customer service.
Five stars only because of its close walking distance to the strip but that's about it.
It's the start of the 2018 new year and guess WHAT?
In Tower 1 and 2, a water pipe broke which left two towers WITHOUT WATER for ONE WHOLE DAY. All guests had to shower and use the bathrooms in Tower 3.
There was no apology nor actions to make this right for all hotel guests.
The management here does not know how to take care of its guests. All staff seemed to be annoyed when you asked them a question.
But wait...there's more!
I was here for New Years and was ready to attend a timeshare presentation. This Wyndham requires a concierge to escort you to a check-in area and then to a desk with a sales rep.
The concierge (I think Nubia is her name?) was quick to judge how I looked as a young owner and told me that "this timeshare is only for owners." Excuse me? I wouldn't be asking if I wasn't an owner. That's not how you treat hotel guests if you work in hospitality. Fortunately, one of the guys at the check-in process apologized for her condescending attitude and gifted us. She made me an hour late to the presentation. (Trust me, it's hard to find the room without help)
But wait...there's more...
I sat down with a sales rep with my family who only wanted our business. He was very persistent to have us buy Grand Desert and we saw his anger shaking his entire body when we explained our reasons for not accepting his offer. His frustration showed when he brought ANOTHER sales rep to talk us into buying an offer at Wyndham. We did not want to work out another offer because we understand the loopholes of the agreement. We're only here for vacation, not monthly excursions! There's only so much that we, as a family, can handle owning several Wyndham properties in California. She, too, became frustrated but we were nothing but courteous and respectful during our meeting.
She left and our first sales rep came back and told us that we are "making a mistake".
First of all, don't talk down to your customers. Find solutions, be adaptable and accepting to every customer's wants and needs. By forcibly selling us property so that you can earn a commission, will not make us return back to this property nor recommend our social circles. You have, instead, lost our respect.
Think twice before booking here...
