  • In my mind, Cleveland is definitely an underrated city. Though small in comparison to other places I've lived, it still has easily accessible art, culture, parks, landmarks, sports teams, and more. Another Cleveland gem is definitely the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. The zoo is truly beautiful and affordable. There are lots of exhibits from those at parking level including elephants, various big cats, an Australian outback area with kangaroos, etc. and then you can follow the path up a hill to see the monkeys, snakes, and other exhibits. I have been to the zoo a half-dozen times and it never fails to impress. The park is well kept and there is an ample supply of animals to occupy your visit. Going to the zoo is a great excuse to spend some time outside and enjoy something unique that Cleveland has to offer!
