  • As a traveller from Calgary, I've used Uber for all of my travel needs while in Toronto. Honestly, it is so ridiculously painless to use the service (book a ride with the app, be able to see where your ride is and how far away, getting in and out without having to fumble around with cards or cash, being able to easy contact your driver) that I would gladly pay extra to ride with Uber. Despite this, it is CONSIDERABLY cheaper to ride with Uber than take a taxi! On top of that there is no awkward request for a trip when the driver did nothing except drive you to your destination (which is their job). What could be better?! These days it's a no brainer to go with Uber...it's better in so many ways.
