Cozy spot for good Mexican. This place is pretty small with the ambience of a Mexican tavern touched by hipsters - lovely for a date or catching up with a friend. Two of us stopped by mid-week a half hour before closing for a late snack and we were surprised to see that it was still completely full. The staff were friendly and welcoming considering we got our tiny order in just before the kitchen closed. There were complimentary toasted tortillas with 3 different sauces!
We shared Guacamole con Tostada Horneada ($9), which came with large crispy, toasted tortillas to break apart and dip in a guacamole with queso fresco. We liked it so much we were eating the rest of it with spoons when we ran out of tortillas. Jamaica (Hibiscus flower juice) and Horchata (Rice milk with cinnamon) were refreshing and tasty as well. Would love to come back and try their full menu!
