I'm not sure why this location is labeled Dean West as it is on the East side off of Stoughton Rd. Anyways, I'm writing a review for the Stoughton Rd. clinic. I went in to the urgent care as I was having severe ear pain. I had a tube put in my ear about a year prior by an ENT in effort to help side effects of a condition I have. The urgent care doctor came in the room, looked in to my ear for about 10 seconds and said that he didn't see anything wrong and that he didn't know why I had pain, and to take Ibuprofen and sent me on my way. I was educating him on the condition I had, and he was doubting me and telling me that I had my information "wrong". I was very insulted. I don't expect general doctors to know specialized conditions in the human body, but DON'T question my knowledge about a condition that I have! What a waste of a co-payment.
I then called my ENT reporting the severe pain they had me come in the same day and found that the tube was no longer in my ear drum, was lodged in the canal and was pretty swollen/inflamed which was obviously causing my pain.
I sent a letter to the Dean Clinic expressing my disgust with the service that I received, and felt that it wasn't right for them to charge my insurance as I didn't get the service that I deserved. They wrote back and said they were going to "waive" my co-pay for that day, but then they never did. If I have another urgent need - I will not be seeking out the clinic on the east side, could probably diagnose myself better on my own by searching the internet!
