  • First, the woman on the phone who I booked with was absolutely wonderful and kind. She explained what would happen in mine and my significant others appointments. Once booked, she gave me the names of the therapists we would have. We scheduled an evening appointment on a Thursday since we both work during the day. This my friends might have been where I made mistake #1...scheduling a 7:00pm appointment. When we arrived the place was tranquil and clean and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. We filled out our paperwork and waited. My significant other was called back first right at 7:00pm. I waited an additional 5 minutes as my therapist was running behind. No worries, it's their job and I totally get it so that didn't bother me. Once back in the room it was pretty standard. Calming music, low light a comfy table. I explained that I wanted to focus on my neck, shoulders and upper back as I knew I had quite a few knots. And noted I wanted fairly firm pressure. The beginning of my massage was great. Once she got to me neck her pressure started to change...and then it dawned on me...my therapist dozed off. I kid you not! I heard her deep breathing as one would when they first fall asleep. Now I didn't cause any type of a scene, I did a little cough to sort of wake her up and snap her out of it. Once my massage was done she just told me to get dressed. Didn't offer to wipe the oil off, didn't offer me a towel and didn't explain to come out when I was dressed and she'd be waiting. My massage did last the full 50 minutes promised but I left without the one knot I needed worked on worked on because she fell asleep! I still can't believe that. I've never had this happen before in my life. We paid our bill and left. The reason I give this place 2 stars was because my significant other really had a great experience and was so relaxed and when we went to bed, he was out like a light and he had been struggling sleeping for weeks now. I'm not planning on ever going back there nor will I book massages in the evening time ever again. I hope they see this review and at least address the therapist and make sure she is ok and knows I was aware she had fallen asleep. I hope this helps you guys in deciding to come here.
