| - Just like the first time I went there all over again. I went here was like 5 years ago, and I'm glad it hasn't changed, because it was eye-opening and wonderful!
There's plenty of parking, maybe like 60-80 spots, but they are still not enough when the restaurant is at peak business, so you might have to driving in circles a few times. Unfortunately most of the time it's first come first serve without reservation unless you have like a lot of people on your party, then they might accommodate.
When you finally get inside, they have what seems like a million servers always running around checking on everyone. They called our name, and seated us after about a 30 minute wait during peak Friday at night. Immediately someone asked us what we wanted to drink and if we were ready to order. Drinks yes, food not yet.
When they came back in a few minutes we started ordering half rolls and nigiri. Half roll portions are the way we do because if it doesn't taste like you thought, it's only 4 pieces, as opposed to 8. Kaya has a rule if you waste too much they'll charge ya extra for it.
Anyway all the rolls were delicious and the wait after ordering a roll is like 5-10 minutes, extremely fast & fresh. Now one thing to note is, most rolls have a lot of seasoning on them yum yum sauce, ponzu, spicy etc. so if you're a purest and just want nigiri, it might not be what you're looking for. For me I love the spicy yum yum sauce and colorful display :).
Overall excellent service, speedy food preparation and really tasty sushi options. Not cheap on the weekends, but when the stomachs happy, the wallet doesn't care!
