| - This lounge saved my sanity today and made an overly long and complex trip from Victoria, BC to Windsor, ON feel like a lovely adventure. We flew overnight from Vancouver to Toronto and had about 2 hours of sleep because of transit and the time change. Naturally, on our layover in Toronto, I put my jacket over my head, curled into a ball and fell asleep in the middle of the airport. THAT is when an angel came up and offered myself and my traveling buddy two free passes into the lounge so that we could stop looking like we're homeless in the middle of the airport, I think.
The lounge was extremely close to where we were sat and we quickly made our way up there and opened the doors to sights that were above our pay grade. Extremely comfortable recliners, a free breakfast buffet with juice, coffee and espresso/latte/macchiato machines, and beer on tap! We relaxed for a while inside, enjoying all of the amenities (maybe a bit more than we should, for not having paid to get in!). After two breakfasts and sampling everything that the lounge had to offer, we ended up having to leave to go catch our flight. Honestly, if I could drop by these kinds of lounges every time I had a layover, I'd somehow become an even bigger fan of flying than I already am!
