  • My husband's favorite meal of the day is breakfast, so while we were in the area I decided to take him to the much ballyhooed Matt's Big Breakfast. The line wasn't unreasonable, especially for a Saturday midmorning. Food was served quickly and was made with fresh ingredients, but choices were surprisingly limited...no biscuits and gravy, no chicken fried steak, no quiche. I just assumed, based on the name, that they'd offer every breakfast item under the sun. My husband got the omelet of the day and said it was pretty good. I got the pesto chicken sandwich, and it was alright. We were both underwhelmed.
