I've been here a couple of times - once over a year ago and once recently. I honestly don't remember the first time so this review is specifically my recent experience at Halo-Halo.
I got the Jeprox (fried dried fish) breakfast for $8 on a Saturday morning. They actually didn't have this out on the menu, but I asked and they were awesome enough to make it for me since it wasn't busy when I stopped by. For $8, I felt that the serving could've been larger, but the food itself was still delicious for Filipino food standards in Phoenix.
I also got some treats: the ube halaya and sans rival (sylvana). The ube was good but the sans rival, for a price of $2.50 per piece, was extremely overpriced and honestly not worth it. Overall, I'd come back here again and try the main dishes next time.
