| - SAMs club is starting to go downhill. First it was the constant badgering to switch to their rewards card and when you politely said no thank you it still wasn't enough and they would keep trying to convince you to sign up. Next, I have my senior citizen parents under my account so I'm the one In charge of paying the renewal fee and when my dad went grocery shopping, they tagged the fee during his 2 item purchase. They live off of social security, so for them to charge them and not the cardholder is completely absurd. Plus, it was still a month out! Finally, today is the straw that broke the camels back. My husband and I went to pay for our 3 items and the cashier rudely said, we're closed. Not an I'm sorry, but I'm closed no, just completely rude with a mean face. I said customer service is bad and she must've told her supervisor and colleague because next thing I know, I'm getting the evil eye stare down from the sup and co worker. When the rude cashier walked by us, she kept staring me down too!!! WOW! Customer service has gone to hell now a days. I have never had this issue with Costco. I have both and after this last incident, I will no longer renew my SAMs account. Goodbye SAMS, you've lost a 10+ year customer who has spent thousands of dollars.
