  • They're too fancy for their pants! I live close by so have walked here several times over the past few years. Because of this, I usually am dressed down and have my young kids with me in the stroller. So maybe I don't look like I have enough money for them? But every time I go the ladies that work there are less than helpful. They see me fussing with my stroller to get through the door. Nothing. Barely a hello ever. When I ask for guidance on things it's usually a short unsmiling answer. I finally got help with my stroller this last time on the way out... by one of their customers who ran over to help me! Apparently the two worker ladies were too busy gossiping about someone with 1 of their other customers (who looked like she had lived in Myers Park Country Club forever) to be bothered. Yes, they have beautiful children's clothing by Feltman Bros. and the like., for around $80 per outfit. But I refuse to spend that much money when I am being treated that way. In a small boutique local store, half of what you're paying for is supposed to be customer service!
