  • We started taking our dog Jacob to DHAC after we moved to New River so very far away from our other vet we loved. Jake came down with Valley Fever not long after our move and the folks at DHAC were great and answered all our questions helped get him on the mend! Everyone at the practice has always been helpful, full of good information and very nice! Recently they went out of their way to fit me in for an appointment, on a day off I already had scheduled, to get vaccinations during Yappy Hour when Yappy Hour was already booked up. They have been open in communicating various treatment options to keep costs down (with blood draws during the Valley Fever treatment, etc.) and answered all of our many questions. So far I have been very happy with my service! I have seen or spoken with three different doctors at various times in the past year and I had positive experiences with all three. The office staff have also been very accommodating and helpful in trying to help me fit things into my crazy/ busy schedule. I loved our other vet (they were a friend of the family) but the 50 mile plus drive to the far east valley from New River made it impossible for us to continue to use them, but so far Desert Hills Animal Clinic has been a great choice for providing us with more local vet care for our furry kids!!
