  • Cool neighborhood spot! You've got people meeting up and doing work, people working solo on their laptops, dude inputting records into a computer and commenting to the guy behind the counter, talking about records and matters of the world and loud enough for everyone to hear. A lot of times this might bother me - but not here. You just feel like you're part of the regular operation. Vinyl store that isn't all cave-like and musty smelling? You bet. Very clean, fresh feeling store. Some vinyl on the first floor near the main seating area and much more upstairs with a bit more seating interspersed. Upstairs seating is a little bit quieter and out of the in and out flow of the place. Nice little patio also for when it's nice outside. The location of the store is nice too - out of the hustle and bustle of other areas of Tremont. Good and bad thing I suppose, depending on what you're in the mood for. It's definitely a bit quieter atmosphere than Civilization over on the park. I appreciated also that the music playing in the background was not overly loud. I do need to get some shit done after all. Very respectable latte also. Not the best I've ever had, but perfectly fine. Nice spot to chill and get some work done. I'll definitely be back to spend some time both working and sifting through the for sale vinyl.
