  • Beautiful structure. The drive here was also very scenic. It was also quite hot, and very bright. Unfortunately we did not get to do the tour, because they sold out. Even though we didn't do the tour, what we saw was still good. I was told that the water here is used for California towns, and that Vegas gets their water reserves from Colorado. There is a cafe here, so you can get a decent meal, drinks, and snacks. I also saw elevators for individuals with disabilities. They close at 5pm, so if you want to get a tour, make sure you come here early or better yet, book it online ahead of time. It's also not a far drive from Vegas, about 45 minutes.
