  • Let me start by saying the food was delicious. Unfortunately the service was not anywhere close to the level of the food. It appeared there were 2 servers working this Tuesday night. While my wife was in the bathroom I let our server know we were celebrating her birthday. He assured me it wouldn't be a problem-the birthday waffle they provide would come out seamlessly after the meal. He said he would order it when we were nearing completion of our meals so it would come out right after dinner. Well, after our server took our order I really didn't see him. The other server brought our meals out, and the host cleared the plates. After our plates were cleared it was 10 minutes before we saw our server (I'm guessing this is when the actual order for the birthday waffle was put in). I told him we would have to forgo the birthday waffle because it was too long and the 7 year old was getting restless. He told me it was coming right out. It was another 5 minutes before it arrived. He dropped it on the table with the check without saying happy birthday or any thanks for coming in tonight. He did say the waffle was on the house for the birthday celebration but he didn't seem very sincere. I got the feeling he was a little perturbed that I questioned the length of time it took. And I'm not positive but I thought every table was getting complimentary biscuits except for us. Once again it, as well as the meal, was delicious but the lack of customer service definitely took away from the experience. I'll still give it 4 stars because that's how good the food is.
