| - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!
I used to go and do my nails there and I was always pleased with the results. They changed owners a few weeks ago and this place has become filthy. I walked him and wasn't even welcomed by the guy at the counter which lately I found was the owner. I was standing there for a good 10 minutes before he even considered me.
I had booked an appointment days ago only to find out that my nail specialist had just resigned. Since I did not want anybody else to do my nails, I asked the owner, named Daniel, why he did not call me to at least keep me informed. Daniel said that all his nail specialists were good and he couldn't see why I was getting upset. Well maybe because it's really poor management.
Then the biggest mistake I made there was to decide to give them a chance, BIG MISTAKE!!! The work on my nails was expedited. The nail specialist seemed very frightened by the owner that kept on yelling at them in a foreign language. I was living a nightmare. I remembered this place to be nice with friendly, professional staff and here I am, having my nails done for my sister's wedding surrounded by frightened workers and a dictator owner. But my nightmare did not end there. My nail specialist admitted that if she did not finish the job before a certain time, she would get a pay cut! I was horrified.
Then comes the bill. They changed their pricing and I ended up paying $10 more. I stayed calmed, gave the nail specialist a food tip since I felt really sorry for her and left.
Then a week after, I started noticing a brown stain on one of my nails. I ran to my doctor who told me to get my gel nails removed ASAP as it was fungus. My nightmare wasn't over. I went back to this horrible nail salon and asked for the owner. I explained to Daniel what happened and that I needed them to remove the gel ASAP. Well believe it or not, he started yelling at me, telling me that his place was clean, that I must have caught this fungus from somewhere else and that I would have to pay to get the gel removed! Then he threatened me, saying that I better not give him bad publicity if I didn't want to be in trouble. Well here is your bad publicity Mr. Daniel. This is by far the worse experience I have ever encountered in an American business. You better change your behavior and the way you do work in this country or your place with become a no man's land. There are nail salons at every corner who do a much better job than you!
