| - It's just so pleasant to deal with real people, and get knowledgable, exceptional service with a down home feeling. Skip the geniuses and use normal, very bright humans. the owner and family and workers at this store use their discretion, and can reverse a charge, or explain what could be done, and what can't. They work with you, not on you. One tech even suggested I buy my own SSD drive, for a lot less than they could have gotten it, and he put it in for me. I paid for labor of course, but it saved me a bunch. Those white and wood Apple stores were cool at first, but now they seem a little stark and cold, sometimes with a bunch of nonsense that didn't use to be there. I think they might have redefined what a genius is because they all seem to be just following locked step routines. (We all miss Steve). Shop local, get local services, including the personal service at Century 23 that I have been using for my six macs at home and at the office about a year now. It's been so great to have a genuine, honest team of computer geeks to relate to, so much so that now I look for problems to take to them. After serving my own Apples since 1991, it's great to have professionals take care of my problems, at least my computer ones. Before you go to Apple store, HALT, and catch Century 23 instead.
